The technology of prefabrication in modular elements and the use of lightweight super-insulating materials and ceramic fibers for high temperatures have allowed the design of continuous tunnel ovens and intermittent ovens, with high production capacities and rapid cycles, comparable to those of roller kilns. The walls are in insulating refractory material in direct contact with the flame and, on the outside, in fiber ceramic panels. The base of the channel in pressed refractory material with a protective internal lining in dense refractory sheets, the vault in insulating refractory suspended from the carpentry of the module. The points of merit concern management flexibility and adaptability to different layout solutions, which can include different levels of automation: from totally manual loading-unloading operations to totally automated operations.
Thanks to the use of burners positioned appropriately for their operation and advanced self-regulation systems, it is possible to work with large sections of the cooking channel (min.1500 mm to a max.3400 mm) ensuring uniformity of oven temperature and pressure. The combustion plant is equipped with high-speed burners.
