The basic criteria followed by Carfer during the development of a project are:

– Optimization of the process: our projects must guarantee flexibility and efficiency. Our main targets are the best possible energy saving and the optimization of the parameters linked to the combustion process.

– Reliability: the project of the whole system and the selection of the machines must guarantee the best possible reliability. We cannot compromise, whenever it’s a matter of reliability of the plant.

– The best results are achieved when the selection of the project solutions , the components and constructive design are in function of the expected operative conditions of the plant.

Our targets, whenever wehave to design and manufacture pre-kilns,are:

– the thermal system will be in accordance with the latest available technology

– the above technology should show a high efficiency

(Eco-Changes for a greener tomorrow), reliability, and should be in accordance with the safety rules the design should be also economical from the investment and from the running costs point of view.

The feasibility study is the first step for the development of a project. The above study allows to identify different possible solutions. The basic and detailed engineering give all the necessary information for the realization of a new system.

The basic engineering puts the Customer in a conditions to call the different possible Suppliers and/or to prepare the data for a tender.

The detailed engineering refers to the data necessary for the constructions of the parts and components of the kilns and dryers,and for the assembling of the above components.

Carfer Forni is also in a position to assist the Customers with procurement services, job supervision, technical assistance during the start up and commissioning (ATM–ATA). What above thanks to the experience of our technicians and engineers that can grant the start up of the plant in safety conditions.

Carfer Forni is able to supply turn key projects also for the modification and upgrading of existing plant, taking the responsibility to follow the development of the projects during all the phases.

Carfer is also able to give technical and technological consultancy ACTT not only because of the experience of our technicians but also because of its cooperation network with other engineering Companies, with experienced technicians working in the ceramic manufacturing processes and with professors working in leading Italian University and skilled in the ceramic field.
