The dryer consists of a set of indipendent chambers, connected in a way to make a channel where the thermal and hygrometic treatment of the wares is carried out.

Each chamber is designed with a radial fan that blows the air 90° comparing with the cars movement. One chamber moves the air in a clock wise direction, and the following chamber in an anti clock wise direction to get a good uniformity of the thermal process.

The forced air passage, 90° comparing with the car direction, is due to the blowing fans and to a set of metallic plates with holes. The above metallic plates and the external wall of  each chamber make the air passage pipes.

The inlet hot air (working temperature:100°C approx.) can be partially or totally recovered from the existing working kilns in the Factory.

The tunnel dryer is equipped with a suction fan complete with the suction network.

The dryer is designed also with a general control board with the instruments for the automatic control of the drying curve, in accordance with the European rules EN-60204-1 and EN 60439-1.
